If you think Tesla is just a consumer EV play, then it's not a compelling buy.
But if you think Tesla will become a major player in the commercial trucking industry and be a leader in autonomous technology, then it's a great time to buy.
Tesla could fail to meet its lofty goals over the next couple of years.
