Getting Started with Your Knowledge Base

Welcome to SaveNowClub! This guide will help you master our platform and build your ultimate knowledge management system.

1. Getting Started

• Create Your Account: Visit SaveNowClub.com and sign up for free
• Install Browser Bookmarklet

2. Two Ways to Save Content

A. Using SaveNowClub Notes

Perfect for structured, detailed information

1. Create a New Note
   • Click Submit or use the bookmarklet
   • Add a descriptive title (required)
   • Write your content in the main editor
   • Optional: Include source URL
2. Enhanced Features
   • Save Full Text: Fill out "Full Text for External Link" form to preserve the complete text from any linked source
   • Categorize: Add existing topics or create new ones
   • Set Privacy: Pick and Choose different content for Public Content, Private Note and whether list Private Note for sale.
   • Add Tags: Use hashtag(#) with relevant keywords in Public Content and/or Private Note for better searchability.

B. Using SaveNowClub Links

Perfect for quick capture and processing later

1. Save a Link
   • Click Add Link or use the bookmarklet
   • Paste or type the URL
   • Add quick thoughts or context
   • Assign to relevant topics using parent chooser
2. Automatic Processing
   • Our Link Crawler automatically:
     • Extracts page title and metadata
     • Saves full text content (if enabled)
     • Converts to a full Note within 24 hours
   • You receive notifications when conversion is complete (planned as of October 2025)

3. Advanced Features

How to Use Bookmarklet

Bookmarklets are little javascript links that live in the bookmarks toolbar of your browser.

Here's the bookmarklet we offer, to install it, simply drag this button to your Bookmarks bar. Drag and drop works for PC-based browser only, to install it on a mobile device browser, you will need to install it manually. If you need help to install and/or use our bookmarklet, please refer this guide.

SaveNow

After install, when you visit any web page, simply clicking on SaveNow button on your bookmark bar will open a small browser popup window to prompt you save the current page as a note to SaveNowClub. It's the fastest way to add content from a web URL.

Install Bookmarklet Manually

You can also install bookmarklets manually. Select the bookmarklet's code and copy it to your clipboard. If the bookmarklet is a link, right-click or long-press the link and copy its address to your clipboard.

Open your browser's bookmarks manager, add a bookmark, and paste the JavaScript code directly into the address box. Give your bookmarklet a name and save it.

Using Bookmarklet to Add Link

By default, bookmarklet allows you to submit a page you are browsing as a note to SaveNowClub, alternatively, you may submit current page as a link. Simply open up a Bookmarklet, then click Submit URL link on the popup browser window.

Using Bookmarklet on Android OS

This bookmarklet has been tested working on Chrome browser on PC, Mac and iPhone. On Chrome browser on an Android phone, clicking this bookmarklet may not open up popup form, if that happens, the method described in this tutorial can solve that problem.

Topic Management

By default, saved notes are at top level. Picking a proper topic for it is a great way to organize the notes under proper theme for later reference. You may use Parent Chooser tool located on each note page to quickly create or pick existing uncertainty for the item.

Just as shown by the screenshot below, you can quickly find existing uncertainty by entering any word that show up in anywhere in the title of uncertainty.

Only the owner of note or site admin is allowed to change parent topic for the note, so you and site admin has the permission to access the tool for notes owned by you.

Privacy Control

The following features are available for every note on SaveNowClub:

• Public Content: Visible to all SaveNowClub users, may be used as marketing material to attract buyers for your Paid Note.
• Private Note: Only visible to you or its buyers.
  • For Sale: Check this option, then your private note will be listed for sale at the price set by you.

Selling Your Knowledge

For every note you create on SaveNowClub, you may list private note section of the note for sale, the public content section of the same note will be used to explain to visitors / potential buyers the reason to buy your private note.

1. Create Private Note: Develop comprehensive notes in your area of expertise
2. Set as Paid: List the private note for sale by check "For Sale" box
3. Set Your Price: Choose from suggested price points or set custom amounts
4. Add Description: Write compelling reason to attract buyers
5. Publish: Make available in the marketplace

如何使用书签小工具

书签小工具是浏览器书签工具栏中的小型 JavaScript 链接。

这是我们提供的书签小工具，只需将此按钮拖到您的书签栏即可安装。拖放功能仅适用于 PC 浏览器，如需在移动设备浏览器上安装，则需要手动安装。如果您需要安装和/或使用我们的书签工具的帮助，请参阅本指南。

立存

安装后，当您访问任何网页时，只需点击书签栏上的“立存”按钮，即可打开一个小的浏览器弹出窗口，提示您将当前页面保存为向 SaveNowClub 添加备注。这是从网址添加内容的最快方法。

手动安装书签小工具

您也可以手动安装书签。选择书签代码并将其复制到剪贴板。如果书签是链接，请右键单击或长按该链接，然后将其地址复制到剪贴板。

打开浏览器的书签管理器，添加书签，然后将 JavaScript 代码直接粘贴到地址栏中。为您的书签命名并保存。

使用书签小工具添加链接

默认情况下，书签小工具允许您将正在浏览的页面作为笔记提交给 SaveNowClub，或者，您也可以将当前页面作为链接提交。只需打开书签，然后点击弹出浏览器窗口中的“提交网址”链接即可。

在 Android 操作系统上使用书签小工具

此书签已在 PC、Mac 和 iPhone 上的 Chrome 浏览器上测试通过。在 Android 手机的 Chrome 浏览器上，点击此书签小程序可能无法弹出弹出窗口。如果出现这种情况，请参考本教程中描述的方法。

主题管理

默认情况下，已保存的笔记位于顶层。为其选择合适的主题是将笔记组织到合适的主题下以供日后参考的好方法。您可以使用每个笔记页面上的“父级选择器”工具快速创建或选择该项目的现有不确定性。

如下图所示，您可以通过输入不确定性标题中出现的任意单词来快速查找现有的不确定性。

只有笔记所有者或网站管理员才有权更改笔记的父级主题，因此您和网站管理员有权访问您拥有的笔记的工具。

隐私控制

SaveNowClub 上的每条笔记均提供以下功能：

• 公开内容：所有 SaveNowClub 用户可见，可用作营销材料，吸引买家购买您的付费笔记。
• 私人笔记：仅您或买家可见。
  • 待售：勾选此选项，您的私人笔记将以您设定的价格出售。
